Cooking with Frozen Vegetables
Fast, fresh-frozen, nutritious and delicious. Frozen vegetables make menu preparation simple because frozen vegetables are ready to use. There’s no preparation time or technique necessary. Premium frozen vegetables should not be thawed before using as an ingredient and they don’t need cutting or trimming before they can be used. The simplest thing to remember is that frozen vegetables are ready-to-cook from the frozen state.
Simply select the serving size or desired amount, pour the frozen vegetables directly from the bag, frozen, into a pan if cooking on the stove or onto a cooking sheet if cooking by convection or conventional oven. Continue to cook according to recipe directions or to heat through if serving as a side dish.
